Constant use of street by unlicenced mopeds and dirt bikes., 4th August

The street is used by youths on motorized push-bikes, mopeds and dirt bikes. They ride up and down the street, and onto the recreation ground on Peppercorn Way. They have been seen many times on the recreation ground, terrorizing people walking dogs, families and children. In wet weather, they chew up the ground, wrecking the field for everyone else. Two weekends ago, a dirt bike came down off the field at speed , then slipped over in the rain and slid into a parked car, damaging the front. The road gets very busy with people accessing the recycling centre and industrial/business units. The bikes disrupt local traffic and ride down the centre of the road. Oncoming traffic has to take evasive steps. Riders are mouthy, underage and extremely reckless. Their presence on the public highway is unlawful. When the road is busy, there is going to be a serious collision sometime in the next 12 months.
